Ark Hotel

Clean modern hotel, not far from the airport and train station but walkable into central Verona. Good breakfast and friendly/helpful staff.

The hotel is a decent hotel with staff providing exceptional service. The breakfast had enough options for me to eat something new every day, we stayed 3 nights. It was a tasty breakfast. So, I personally went for this hotel due to its location. The first day I had regretted it, as I was travelling with my 9 year old child and after a day out in Verona - she was tired to walk back.. we still made it to the hotel, as it is really not that much of a walk. I saw all I wanted in Verona in that 1 day, so since we were close to train station we took trips to Lake Garda and Venice. And that's where the location paid off as you can literally see the hotel when you leave the train station. There are also a lot of public bus connections right next to it, so we used a bus as well to travel to a shopping mall. Amazing, would stay again!

Situated a short walk from the main railway and bus stations, from where a frequent bus service to the airport departs, Ark Hotel is also close to the historic city centre. Our bedroom was clean and well-equipped. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Easy check-in. All in all, it is a good choice for a short stay in Verona.

The hotel is very close to the Verona Porta Nuova railway station (no more than 5-8 minutes' walk, of course depending on how much luggage one has) and within walking distance of the city centre (the Arena and Piazza Bra are about 20 minutes' walk from the hotel). The room I was in was very spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom (with large, fluffy towels and nice add-ons, like the complimentary room slippers). The buffet breakfast was extremely nice and very abundant, with a large selection of delicious food, both sweet and savoury, together with fresh fruit, cereals, patisserie... the works! Last, but by no means least, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A perfect place to stay in Verona!

Convenient location for the train station (10-15 minutes walk) which has a good service to both Venice and Lake Garda and a regular airport shuttle. Centre of Verona is about 15-20 minutes walk. Hotel is very nice and we had a top floor room which had great views of the city. Comfortable bed, clean, spacious and a good shower. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
